Cheap Toys & Crummy Candy offer some of the most fun and unique packaging of any Garbage Pail Kids merchandise product released in the 80s. This page highlights every aspect of Cheap Toys PACKAGING from bags to boxes and more!

CHEAP TOYS BOX

Cheap Toys boxes are very rare to locate in the collecting community. When found they are often in poor condition, and suffer from dinged up corners/etc. Here are some pictures of every side of a Series 1 Cheap Toy box.

CHEAP TOYS BAG

Cheap Toys came in a little plastic baggie. The bag contained one figure, a checklist and a bag of 'Crummy Candy'. The bag was sealed and then closed up with a yellow twist-tie. The bags come in 2 different types of plastic. The most common is the one in the picture below, and is a more translucent green plastic...however, there is also a semi-transparent green bag that comes from Canada.

CHEAP TOYS PROMO MATERIAL

To assist the retailer, Topps would deliver Sale Sheets (or 'Ad Sheets') that gave a brief description of the item to be sold as well as an image of how to display the merchandise. Below are examples of both a Series 1 and Series 2 Sale Sheet (for comparison purposes).
